Cinderella Quinceañera | Hollis Garden | Lakeland Photographer

Monica just turned 15, and we did a family session with her quinceañera at the Hollis Garden in Lakeland. Monica wore a beautiful, blue cinderella like dress. A floor-length formal dress. Her dress is a spaghetti strap, formfitting at the top and loose flowing at the bottom, cut to flow over the body.

It was a beautiful, early Sunday morning. Monica wanted to make her shoot a family affair. She had her mom, dad, and grandma. Early morning photography can result in stunning images. just like these. The good thing about an early morning shoot is that you can have the location all to yourself. The best time to start a morning session is right around sunrise. There’s something about taking photos in the magical morning light that makes my heart so happy. Most likely it’s because that soft, beautiful light just glows, and looks just a little different from the light later in the day, or evening. Morning weather is usually good. Depending on where you live, you might have better luck with the weather in the morning.

As we see pictures remain as essential as they've ever been. They allow us to not only freeze the precious moments but also preserve them in time to last generation. With such your photos – your memories will be given life; will be easily shared, and will last generations; after all, that's what it's all about. A Quinceanera photoshoot can sometimes be similar to an engagement session but this time with the focus on the young Quinceanera. The objective is to capture her beauty and elegance and may be done at a location of her choosing. It also may include planning for fancier clothes, hair, and makeup. When your daughter looks back at her quinceañera photos, she will get to re-live that incredible time again and again. These photos will show the love between herself, her family, and her guests—so photography plays an important role.

Hollis Garden is the location chosen for this shot. Hollis Garden is a formal garden located in the historic Lake Mirror Park. This is a beautiful location for photoshoots and as well as weddings. It’s a botanical display garden set in a neo-classical architectural environment complete with patterned flower beds, public art, and ornamental fountains.

Monica wore two outfits which I love because she can also have some “daily” to that formal look. Her cute, summer floral dress was just perfect for the location.

Sibling Photoshoot | Family Pictures | New Tampa Nature Park

Yismaldy's family was PERFECTION!!! The light was just before the sunset, which was GORGEOUS!!

It's the spontaneous moments that reveal your kids' unique connection. Some siblings show their love by whispering secrets, some with looks of undying devotion. There can be kicking and screaming in the mix when feelings are hurt. For many siblings, love is expressed in an ever-changing mix of all of the above. The connection they have in just a hug between the two.

I love the colors the girls chose. Peach and Lilac is an unlikely color combination and yet they work beautifully together. The handsome guys color Blue and Gold worked fabulously together. It doesn't matter which shade of blue you choose, if you're wondering what goes with gold, any hue of blue with work.

Tips for having a great Smash Cake Session | Smash Cake Beach Session

This was a super cute smash cake session at the beach. Sand Key Park is located in Clearwater, Florida.
I love this place because it has a nice water view, beach, green beautiful areas, and easy parking.

We offer custom sessions and we can also order the cake the client wants.

Do you know what is needed for your smash cake session? Here are a few tips.

1) First and most important thing. Make sure your little one gets a good night's sleep. No one wants a cranky child during photos.

2) Things get messy, so be sure to bring extra clothes. You may also need wipes or towels to keep clean.

3) Bring snacks and a sippy cup for your child. Kids get hungry and thirsty.

4) Please avoid getting a chocolate cake. That kind of mess does not look good in images. Try to stay away from red icing as well.

5) Save the cake photos for last. Make sure you take images with the whole family.

6) As a parent myself, some advice. Just relax. Our children know us. They can sense our stress. If you are calm they will be too.
