Hyde Park Photo Shoot | Hunt Family Session | Baby Portraits

I have the best job. Between photographing weddings and families, how can I not be smiling at work? This family and their little one made me smile more than normal.

One of the best things about being a photographer in Tampa is the abundance of awesome scenery to choose from as a backdrop. Sometimes my clients pick the location and other times I help them choose the spot. I suggest holding photo sessions in meaningful locations such as your own home or yard, a park that the kids particularly enjoy.

For this fall family session, we chose Hyde Park. I love that I could provide portraits of the entire (good-looking) family.

Hyde Park is renowned for its dining and nightlife scene along South Howard Avenue. Hyde Park Village shopping center offers international chain stores alongside indie boutiques. This area has lively nightlife, delicious restaurants, cute shopping stores, and beautiful scenery for photographs.

So Ary asked me to do a session with both girls! Sophia and Valentina are growing so fast and she does not want to miss a moment.

Siblings don’t choose each other, but siblings do shape each other. For parents, this makes it important to remember that kids are not only unique and different from each other but that they are also keenly aware of those differences. Acknowledging that can be really helpful, but it’s important that parents are smart about the way they talk to one of their children about another one of their children. Finesse matters.

As much time as you've spent with your siblings and as well as you know them, there are probably a lot of important things that are left unsaid. Especially during difficult times, when we have to stop and reassess what's truly important in our lives, it's the perfect moment to consider the sort of kind words and worthwhile conversations that can help strengthen your relationship but can be easily overlooked in the day-to-day. So love each other always!

New Tampa Nature Park Famous for its zipline, the park also has trails and boardwalks and includes a connection to a trail at Hillsborough County's Flatwoods Wilderness Regional Park.

Biking Trails, Environmental Education Center, Park Benches, Paved Hiking / Walking Trails, Ziplines, and much more.

Christmas Card Photo Session | Tampa Photographer | Mini Session

I wanted to share a little of my family with you. My loving husband Sergio, my son Leo, and my daughter Regina. We needed some Christmas cards so I decided on a mini session. So after I photographed my last Christmas session for the year, we made a day of it. The same afternoon doing our session for our Christmas cards too. Blue Acres Christmas Tree Farm is an amazing place for family photos.

A mini session is a short photo session. A normal photo session can include hours of shooting, multiple locations, and 100+ photos to choose from. Minis are all about short times (15-30 min.), a small number of edited photos for the clients to choose from, and a lower price. They're extremely popular with photographers. You can use these photos for birthday cards, postcards, or whatever you choose.

It has been my pleasure to have been a part of each and everyone’s life this year. To part take in each milestone, wedding, family photo, and special celebration. Thank you to all my clients, friends, and families that gave me the opportunity to know them. I enjoyed sharing all the special moments with you.

Happy Christmas Eve!

Helen and Luis, baby Anthony and Olivia.

Olivia and my daughter are friends! We have known each other for almost seven years. The girls have grown up together. They were excited to do a Christmas shoot with the family. They are the cutest family.

We went to the Christmas tree farm and had lots of fun.
Anthony was born during the pandemic. He is very shy… but we definitely worked it out. He did amazing!

Helen and Olivia were cute in their matching white dresses and the guys in their blue.

The place is beautiful we rented the entire space to have privacy and Hesper brought the whole hang LOLl Hubby Joseph his mom, Sarah the dog, and Bambam the cat. They all came with great outfits. They were absolutely adorable. Sarah and Bambam did so well being out in the open taking photos with their loved ones. It was so nice having the whole place to ourselves. Hesper is my assistant and social media videographer. Usually, it is Hesper helping with phots but today she was the client.

It was a beautiful day for Christmas photos.
