I love when I get to see a family grow together year after year. Tricia and Jason have been my clients for a very long time.

Their kids Gilbert, Kiara, and Daniel are so cute. They showed out their personality so well. The kids had a blast with their photos. They really had a lot of fun. The kids were silly and comical. Mom & Dad also had fun being silly with them. that’s what it’s all about. Not just taking pictures, but enjoying and having fun with your family members and reminiscing on the fun you had that day when you look at the photos in the future. That’s what memories are about.

We went to the Hollis Garden in Lakeland during a weekday afternoon before sunset.
We spent a GREAT 45 minutes and we did some awesome pics. Hollis Garden is a botanical garden set in a neo-classical architectural environment complete with patterned flower beds, public art, and ornamental fountains. Hollis Garden is a formal garden. It is located within historic Lake Mirror Park. This park is so beautiful, you will find over 10,000 flowers, ornamental shrubs, and native trees.

I love how they chose plaid and polka dots for the color pattern. The 2 older kids had a different color plaid. The daughter’s plaid matched well with mom’s polka dots. The older son whore his plaid with a neutral bottom that went well with his brothers and dad's neutral colors and blues to match his. Don't be afraid to try a matching plaid on a plaid set – it can look quite good. You could try for plaid skinny jeans or cigarette pants and a matching blazer. They all looked good together that day.

Thank you for trusting in me to be a part of your family for these many years!

Family Day Photos | Tampa Photographer | Family Session

Here is the Wildes family out for their family session. They chose a nice park for the location. So many clients ask, “Do you have a place you typically like to photograph?” Of course, there are many locations to choose from. Each location is not for everyone. So think about your city, and build a list of some places where you would like to shoot. Think about your family’s personality, what kind of photos you are looking for, and maybe the time of day. Most family portrait sessions will include a variety of backdrops and poses. Discuss with your photographer and this will help narrow the perfect location for you.

The Wildes family had a lot of fun with the photos shoot. Having fun is the most IMPORTANT thing to remember during your family photo shoot. Enjoy your time with one another. Emotions and connections show in photographs. Upon arriving, Try to remember to relax, breathe, and just have a lovely and memorable evening with one another.

Laugh, tickle, play ‘hug-tag’, tell stories, wrestle, toss your kids in the air, tip them upside down, play ‘super-man’, twirl, and dance. These are just a FEW of the fun activities we do to make your family session fun. Movement is always welcome! It gives the opportunity to capture adorable and candid photos of you and your family.

They had on their pinks, white, and blue for this shoot. They did not have matching clothes on but the colors blended well together. Little Evie whore a pretty white ballerina dress. Miss Maddie had a cute one-piece jumper and a matching vest. Mrs. Carrie had on a Blue and pink dress that flowed when the wind blew. And David whore blue jeans, a casual blue shirt, and some nice boots. Their photos came out amazing!!

We are grateful to be chosen for your photoshoot!

Here are another one of my amazing neighbors. Pam decided to do a morning session with her family. It was a beautiful day for photos. The weather was warm and cheerful.

It is funny, the girls posed so well for the photos. You would not realize that the little one doesn’t like to take photos. She is a very unique little one. She’s super fun and with a great personality.
She’s the boss! It is always the small and quiet ones that have all the sass. LOL!!

Sunset photos are so pretty. The best time to take sunset photos is usually an hour before the sunsets. This is called the Golden Hour. This is when the sun is low in the sky and offers a soft, diffused light. Also, choosing the right location is also important.

They are the head of this Family. They had a fun afternoon session with their kids walking with me at the Lettuce Lake Park.

You can accomplish a color-coordinating cohesive look without every family member wearing the exact same outfit. In fact, sometimes that can seem overly matching. By selecting a color scheme and using hues that complement each other, you can achieve a more natural look across the board. Also, having matching outfits is equally pretty in photos. Especially when you are matching with your kids. I think Yusleidys and her daughter Sophia look adorable n their matching dresses.

Family photos are one of the best ways to capture memories. It captures the kid’s growth and love between family members. It’s still images that grow with you over the years for your future family members and you to look back on.

I love how this family had fun with the different combos of portraits they did. When you have multiple family members you have many options of photos. Different combos like mother/daughter, father/son. sister/sister and so on. The option is limitless.
