Alycia and Bryan had an amazing and beautiful sunset during their wedding day… She sent some ideas of posing for their wedding but actually we did MUCH MORE!!!

This couple enjoyed with their little boy and family an intimate and gorgeous wedding ceremony at the beach. We enjoyed every minute in Pass a Grille with a gorgeous day, a beautiful sunset and a nice breeze just when the sun was going down…

The most romantic moments of course happened during sunset… they really showed the love they have for each other and we just saw how was to be at this beach with LOVE around us. The arbor with beautiful center piece of flowers in white and reds… the lanterns at the aisle and the beach balls complemented a perfect hitched at the beach.

St.Pete downtown engagement session | Xioly & Marcos

Xioly & Marcos

It was a beautiful weekday morning in Downtown St. Petes, Tampa, Florida. The sun was smiling brightly along with these two sweethearts as they walked the streets hand in hand, reveled in admirable gander with one another, and indulged in refreshing drinks with each other at Intermezzo Coffee and Cocktails. She is from the Dominican Republic and he is from Mexico, but by fate they met here in Tampa. This session represents the joy in becoming engaged to the love of your life; magical. Soon to be married Xioly and Marcos in September on a sandy beach. Xioly's attire fits the day beautifully. Bright white with the images of pink/burgundy flowers and green leaves sprinkled all over this outfit from Sears, rich brown heals decorated with bronze, round studs from Charlotte Russe, and the cutest hat ever. 

Florida Beach Engagement Session | Sunset Engagement

Tiffany and Josh decided to have a beautiful engagement photoshoot in the sunny state of Florida. They are from up north and knew that if they were going to have an engagement session that reflected their bright future together as a couple, they needed to come to one of the beautiful beaches in Florida. At first we shot on this wooden walkway with so much plant life surrounding them. The board walk led to the beach where we took some photos on the sand. They were laughing and walking on the shore as the sun started setting, it was such a beautiful moment to capture. And finally they posed behind big rocks where the water splashed behind them as the sun set and they were kissing. It was so much fun capturing the love between this couple and I wish them the best of luck as they embark on this new journey together. This session was coordinated by the amazing team of Tide the Knot beach weddings.

If there is something really important about a successful engagement session is the Location you chose for your photos. The background is the second important thing about GREAT photos, of course the first one is YOU!!! 

I have been shooting more than 70 engagement sessions during the life of my business and I will love to share with you some of the best ones in Tampa area. 1.- PHILLIPE PARK in SAFETY HARBOR, Fl: This one is my favourite for a natural organic style. It has a green area with beautiful big oak trees, has a small beach , so you can have water background and during sunset the romantic warm light makes it PERFECT>

2.- THE DALI MUSEUM: This one is for a more classic and elegant feeling, if you are looking for something more elegant or modern go here!!! This place is beautiful and has a lot of good spots to take gorgeous photos for your engagement session. St.Pete is always a good choice.

3.- SUNSET BEACH in TREASURE ISLAND : IF there is something you must have to consider is to going to the beach to take your engagement photos!! We are so close to the beach right? But there are so many and really pretty , but definitely one of the best ones is Sunset Beach. It has a great pavillion that helps to make more dynamic the session, has a rock jetty and green areas!!!

4.- HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK : This park is perfect for a romantic engagement session, with canoes, a beautiful river as a background and green areas with big trees. 5.- AIRPORT / St.Pete Air School: This place is sooo different but fun, I had the chance to photograph a beautiful couple that decided to make something different. They dressed up as a vintage style, kind of 60's James Bond theme feeling. But you can also shoot here as a totally casual and fun engagement session. We did it during morning but I bet sunset time will be different, probably more romantic.
