Mickey Mouse cake smash

We got to celebrate Mateo’s first birthday with a beautiful cake smash session! We also got a chance to take some family portraits. It was a very windy day but the pictures came out lovely. Mateo was so excited to eat the cake! We used the space with a tulle teepee, lettering, mickey mouse decorations, and a stunning MICKEY MOUSE CAKE!!

Mateo and her sister were playful and had a fun time throughout the session.

• Your favorite location- This could be your favorite local restaurant, coffee shop, park, or museum. Having it at your favorite location can make you feel more comfortable and easy to have fun there!

• Downtown city-Downtown areas are so beautiful! If you find a place with easy parking, benches, and gorgeous scenery from parks to get some romantic pictures of you with your significant other! Just imagine how romantic it would be walking around downtown city!

• Beaches- This is a good option! As you’ve seen in my beach photographs, the scenery is always beautiful. Get different outfits and ideas to do the session. picnics and romantic meals are a good idea. Bring props to your location and talk about it to your photographer.

• Private locations- Venues are a really GREAT option to get some intimate and romantic photos. these types of locations let you get some privacy during your session. This is great if you two are more shy.

Looking for a celebration that even Gatsby would be proud of? We had the honor to photograph a wedding that measures up to the feeling of a lavish affair. Alex and Keena were looking for an intimate romantic ceremony with a flair of vintage glamour and nailed the inspiration for their dream atmosphere. While deciding on a venue, they were looking for the freedom and flexibility that was offered at the private estate of Paradise Spring Court, accented with a modern twist to a vintage theme.

We asked Keena, what her most valuable piece of advice to share with future couples would be and she said “Give yourself more time than you think you need to plan the wedding. I certainly wish I had a few more months to get everything in order.”
